Bottlenose dolphins, Tursiops, have a mass of about 400 lbs and a length of 10 ft. They can live for about 40-60 years. Bottlenose Dolphins are one of the top ocean predators. They prefer to stay in groups of about 100. These Dolphins feed using a strategy called "fish whacking," where they fling fish out of the water, knocking them unconscious.
